Sick and Injury Visits
We are able to offer appointments for immediate medical needs. We are generally able to see patients the same day for acute needs.
Common things we see for acute or injury visits include colds, urinary tract infections, STI testing, cuts, skin infections, lower back pain.
We have in-house testing available for:
- Pregnancy
- COVID-19
- Rapid Strep
- Rapid Flu
We are able to collect urine samples and specimen swabs on site. Testing available includes urine collection and culture, wound culture, testing for bacterial vaginosis, yeast, chlamydia, trichomonas, gonorrhea and herpes. These samples are then picked up by LabCorp same day.
Urgent Care – we are NOT able to complete x-rays or lab work on site. You may be better suited to seek immediate care at an urgent care or emergency department that has those abilities. If you are unsure, please call the office to clarify if we can meet your needs for your current complaint. There is a possibility that after being evaluated by the physician you may be directed to a higher level of medical care.
If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, you should immediately call 911 or visit your nearest emergency department. Medical emergencies include but are not limited to: severe abdominal pain, feel like you are going to pass out, severe shortness of breath, feeling like you are having a heart attack or chest pain, concerned you hare having a stroke, active suicidal ideation with a plan, or other life-threatening symptoms.
If you should ever need it, the National Suicide Prevention Hotline telephone number is 988.
